SCHOOL ONE GUIDANCE
TALENT SHOW INFORMATION:

School Number One SADD officers and students have expressed
interest in putting on a Talent Show! It will be posted online sometime in June.
Anyone who is interested in sharing their talent should consider auditioning
for this event.

The following are some guidelines. Any student in grades K-4
interested in performing must submit a video/attachment of their work to mbuonomo@flboe.com to be reviewed.
Audition Forms must be returned no later than May 27th, 2020
Once we have received a completed Audition Form, we will then
review it and let you know what needs to be edited/changed.
All students will be notified of the changes that must be made or not by June 2nd, 2020.

IF we are back in School by June, then we will be having our Talent Show online performance presented in school before the end of the school year.

Important Reminders For Submitting your Talent Show Piece:

1. Each child must submit their audition in a video format that cannot exceed two minutes.
2. All dances and songs must be appropriate.  (No inappropriate language, modest costumes, etc.)
3. Art work must be submitted with a Mat format.
4. If a student wishes to submit two talents (i.e. Art work AND a musical piece) they are permitted to do so.
5. Please submit your work/video performances to mbuonomo@flboe.com
Have fun and good luck!

SELF DISCIPLINE: Character Theme for April 2020

How can you show Self Discipline?

LISTEN carefully to others and be sure you understand what they are saying.

SHARE when you have something that others would like to have.

TAKE TURNS when there is something that nobody wants to do, or when more than one person wants to do the same thing.

COMPROMISE when you have a serious conflict.

DO YOUR PART the very best that you possibly can. This will inspire others to do the same.

SHOW APPRECIATION to people for what they contribute.

ENCOURAGE PEOPLE to do their best.

MAKE PEOPLE FEEL NEEDED. Working together is a lot more fun that way.

DON’T ISOLATE OR EXCLUDE ANYONE. Everybody has something valuable to offer, and nobody likes being left out.

HOW TO BE
A RESPONSIBLE PERSON

Be reliable and dependable; when you agree to do something, do it.

Take care of your own business. Don't make others do what you are supposed to do.

Take responsibility for your actions; don't make excuses or blame others.

Use your head; think before you act; imagine the consequences.WELCOME BACK!

Welcome back to all School One students and parents! Hoping that everyone had a restful, relaxing and safe summer! Looking forward to a great year!
