PTA

What is the PTA?

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a network of families, students, teachers, and administrators devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of family engagement in schools.

The Fort Lee School 1 PTA welcomes all families into the school community. We work to engage families and school staff in regular and meaningful communication about student learning and student life. We support our children’s success by advocating for policies and programs that enrich their learning and development. We invite all parents and school administrators to become members of the PTA so you have a voice and a hand in helping our children achieve their potential.

What does the FLS1 PTA do?

Each year, the PTA organizes events such as the Scholastic Book Fair, Boosterthon, and other events to raise money to fund programs such as After School Clubs, holiday celebrations, Movie Night, Field Day, and more.

Why become a PTA member?

PTA members receive newsletters and updates that keep parents in the know of programs and happenings at school. Members have access to volunteer opportunities that allow parents to be more engaged in their children’s school life.
